Folk Music and Dance from Caucasus Georgia
Mountainous Caucasus Georgia had one of the world’s most ancient and arresting three part harmony singing traditions. Zedashe sings folks songs, love songs, ballads and ritual circle dances. Zedashe members are also trained as dancers who will show off their intricate footwork. The Zedashe Ensemble is unquestionably one of the top ensembles in the world performing the unique vocal music of Georgia.
