The Wayfarers Chapel offers a program of community oriented events and invites you to participate in them.
Special Events
The Wayfarers Chapel presents concerts, lectures and classes throughout the year. Check our website and click on “What’s New” for upcoming events. Tickets, if required, can be purchased at the Visitors Center (open daily 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or by phone at 310-377-1650 ext. 2.
Group Tours
Guided group tours of the Chapel and grounds may be arranged Monday through Friday by calling the Visitors Center. A small donation is suggested. Click here for more information about the Visitors Center.
Movie, Television & Commercial Use
The Wayfarers Chapel appears in many movies and television shows including a wedding scene for the final episode of the “OC” in 2007. Site and Location Managers are welcome to visit and explore the use of the Chapel and grounds for film, television and commercial use. Photography and Videography
You are welcome to take pictures and video for personal use. Any professional photography or videography must have prior authorization.
Wedding photography is restricted to only those couples who are being married at the Chapel.
If you are interested in taking professional photos on the Chapel grounds you will need a reservation. Reservations can be made one week in advance and can be booked for up to 30 minutes. You are requested to observe the following: no wedding attire, no photos in the Chapel, and no weekend shoots. We suggest you make a donation of $50.00 at the Visitors Center. (If you have reserved a wedding at the Chapel and are taking engagement photos, the donation can be waived.) For professional reservations contact the Visitors Center.
