The Wayfarers Chapel is dedicated to serving the community. The Chapel offers the public exciting opportunities to experience this National Historical Place. Through community support, the Chapel legacy is preserved for generations to come.

Remembrance and Memorial Gifts

Special Events

The Wayfarers Chapel proudly presents our special events series of critically acclaimed concerts, lectures and plays. Check our web site and click on ‘What’s New’ for upcoming events. Tickets can be purchased over the phone 310-377-1650 Ext. 2 or in person at and the Vistors Center (open daily 10am-5pm).The popular Wayfarers Annual Art Show takes place the last Sunday of April.

All photos, video and audio recording of Chapel Events are prohibited and must have prior written approval.

Tour Groups

Many visitors come to the Wayfarers Chapel every year. Guided group tours of the Chapel and grounds may be arranged Monday through Friday by calling the Visitors Center at 310-377-1650 Ext. 2. Click here for more information about the Visitors Center.

Movie, TV & Commercial Use

The Wayfarers Chapel appears in many movies and televisions shows including a wedding scene for the “OC’s” final episode of 2007. Site and location managers are welcome to visit and explore the use of the Chapel and grounds for film, television and commercial use. To obtain filming information, please contact the Community Relations Director at 310-377-1650 Ext. 3.

Photography and Videography

Everyone is welcome to take pictures and video for personal use.  Any professional photography or videography must have prior authorization. If you and your photographer are interested in taking professional photos on our grounds then you will need a reservation. Reservations can be made one week in advance and can be booked for up to 30 minutes. We also ask that you follow these photo guidelines: no wedding attire, no photos in the chapel, no weekend shoots and we suggest you make a chapel donation of $50.00 at the Visitor Center. (If you have reserved a wedding here at Wayfarers chapel and are taking engagement photo; then the donation will be waived.) For professional photo reservations call 310-377-1650 Ext. 2.

As the singer/songwriter for thirteen years in the enduring alt-rock band Dishwalla, the group released five records, including Platinum-selling ‘Pet Your Friends’ and “Counting Blue Cars’, that won the Billboard award for Rock Song of the Year. Now Richards is eager to share his solo debut album ‘A Beautiful End.”

Tickets are $25 and there are 30 special V.I.P. ticket available for $35.  V.I.P.’s will have seats reserved in the first rows and be permitted in the chapel at 6:30 p.m. to watch a behind-the-scenes rehearsal with J.R., and receive an autographed photo. Reception included.

Folk Music and Dance from Caucasus Georgia

Mountainous Caucasus Georgia had one of the world’s most ancient and arresting three part harmony singing traditions. Zedashe sings folks songs, love songs, ballads and ritual circle dances. Zedashe members are also trained as dancers who will show off their intricate footwork. The Zedashe Ensemble is unquestionably one of the top ensembles in the world performing the unique vocal music of Georgia.
