Wayfarers Chapel - The National Memorial to Emanuel Swedenborg dedicated to the glory of God.

The Wayfarers Chapel is dedicated to serving the community. The Chapel offers the public exciting opportunities to experience this National Historical Place. Through community support, the Chapel legacy is preserved for generations to come.

Concerts & Events

The Wayfarers proudly presents a monthly concert series inside the Chapel from September to June. Local, national and international musicians perform everything from classical to jazz. The popular Wayfarers Annual Art Show always takes place the last Sunday of April. See the Calendar listing for the latest happenings. Musicians interested in booking a performance should contact the Community Relations Director.

Tour Groups

Many visitors come to the Wayfarers Chapel every year. Guided group tours of the Chapel and grounds may be arranged Monday through Friday by calling the Visitors Center at 310-377-7919 x6. Click here for more information about the Visitors Center.

Movie, TV & Commercial Use

The Wayfarers Chapel appears in many movies and televisions shows including a wedding scene for the “OC’s” final episode of 2007. Site and location managers are welcome to visit and explore the use of the Chapel and grounds for film, television and commercial use. Photography and Videography

Everyone is welcome to take pictures and video for personal use. Any commercial photography or videography must have prior authorization from the Chapel Administrator. For more information, please contact the Community Relations Director at 310-377-1279.

Remembrance and Memorial Gifts

From “Oprah & Friends”

Lisa Oz is a frequent co-host with her husband Dr. Oz on this show on Oprah & Friends’ XM radio telecast. Lisa is a producer, writer, actress, and has co-authored three New York Times best selling books, including the “YOU: The Owner’s Manual” series. She is President of Ozworks LLC, a media and investment consulting company that she founded, and directs Pine Room Pictures, a production company specializing in family friendly media.

She attended Columbia University’s Union Theological Seminary. She has written and has a passion for the spiritual studies. Lisa is a Reiki Master and has spoken widely of her insights into energy and health. She lives in Cliffside Park, NJ with her husband Dr. Mehmet Oz of 22 years and their 4 children.
