Bringing the Outdoors In
Greenery, floral elements and nature-infused details are all the rage for the year. Venues are actually bringing in decor and elements of the outdoors to achieve a wanderlust and whimsical look. Lucky for us, we have the best of both worlds: a glass chapel in the midst of a wooded forest overlooking the Pacific! Dreamy venue: attained.
Unique Paper Goods
Traditional stationary, au revoir. Mismatched, unique paper goods from seating cards to invitations will be a major trend for 2019. Materials like vellum, leather, suede and acrylic will be used for personalized place cards, menus and more.

Simple Wedding Dresses
We have royal Meghan Markle to thank for this one. Clean lines and sleek silhouettes will be a focus for wedding dresses, free of embellishments and intricate accents. Try an asymmetrical hem or open back for a modern twist on the trend.

Fresh florals are still welcome in 2019, but grasses are definitely stealing the flower scene. Pampas grass and wheat are used in unique installations and arrangements to create a bohemian look.

Last year, you saw flower-filled backdrops all over the wedding scene. This year, 2019 is bringing playfulness and fun with balloon walls as decor. Get creative with mixing different shapes and colors according to your wedding palette!

Velvet will be seen on all tablescapes this year. Depending on the color you choose, this fabric does not have to just be reserved for fall and winter!

Silver, move aside! Elevate your tabletop with copper-toned utensils.

Everyone loves a good charcuterie board. Let your guests graze on meats, cheeses, fruits and nuts during cocktail hour for sophisticated munching.

Enough Kitchen Aid mixers, okay? People are getting into the habit of gifting experiences this year, so consider contributing to a puppy fund for the newlyweds or a weekend winery getaway.

Fragrances are special because they evoke memories you can revisit with a simple sniff. For parting gifts, couples are giving candles and essential oils with the scent they burned at the reception or even a custom scent they created themselves. Such a personalized detail!
