Pennyroyal Players – A Romp through the American Revolution
August 20, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
The Pennyroyal Players will take you on a musical romp through the Revolutionary War! From the opening firing shot, to the Boston Massacre, to the signing of the Declaration of Independence to the glorious victory over the British and finally the signing of the treaty of peace.
The production uses original letters and songs from the period. It is an amusing, educational and very fast paced look at our own American history from a very different perspective. Come experience these talented singers and musicians inside our stunning, acoustically amazing Wayfarers Chapel!
The Pennyroyal Players were recently awarded City of Torrance’s Excellence In Arts in Music Award! They can be found at www.pennyroyalplayers.org.
Arrival time is 6:15, please be prompt as the show show starts at exactly 6:30pm!
We will serve wine, cookies and coffee after the show in the loggia behind the Chapel. See you there!
