Worship service: “Love, Eat, Work, Pray”
July 9, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Rev. Mary Cartusciello
This Sunday we’ll spend time with the writer of Ecclesiastes, who many call too pessimistic. However, Rev. Mary Cartusciello finds Ecclesiastes to match some of her own journey and conclusions about life’s meaning that may help us find joy in every day life no matter what “season” we’re in. The writer of Ecclesiastes searched for the meaning of life and found many paths to be futile. They may mirror some of your own attempts at happiness. How can we live fully in each season of our changing lives? Can we find beauty and purpose in such simple things as food, relationships, work, and connection to God? How can we make a difference in the lives of those who don’t even have these simple gifts? If any of these questions spark your interest, please come worship with us on Sunday.
