The wedding day prep-room is where you will be spending time primping for the big day, and sharing intimate moments with your bridal party and family. Whether it’s an Airbnb, private home or hotel suite, make sure you have plenty of space to fit all the girls as well as hair stylists and makeup artists. You won’t feel cramped and can feel comfortable as you get ready.

Pump Up the Jam
Have music to play as you get ready to create a mood for the morning. If you’re feeling anxious and want to relax, create a playlist with calming music – or if you’re looking to have a pre-wedding dance party with your girls, throw on the throwbacks or your favorite songs of the moment.

All the Snacks
Hair and makeup can take some time, especially if your bridal party is on the larger side. Don’t skip eating before the ceremony, as you want to feel strong and revitalized as you walk down the aisle. Bring your favorite healthy snacks to your hotel suite to munch on before the big day begins.

Pop Some Bubbly
Stock the hotel room with champagne, rosé or all the fixings for mimosas to start the celebration with your girls. Popping some bubbly and relaxing will allow you to ease into the day and enjoy the morning. These moments are also so sweet for your photographer to capture!

Wedding Day Fragrance
Prior to your wedding morning, select a perfume to wear on your big day. This can either be your go-to fragrance you’ll feel confident in or one that is new to you, that you’ll always remember as your signature wedding-day scent.

Designated Time Keeper
Have your Maid-of-Honor or most trusted bridesmaid keep everyone on track as the day progresses. You don’t want to miss out on portrait time because hair and makeup were lagging. Once you arrive to the chapel, your designated Wayfarers Wedding Director will be with you for the two hours you are on the chapel grounds – she will be on it to keep the ceremony flowing!

Have Your Photographer Onsite
For behind-the-scenes photos and detailed shots, photographers need to be present while you’re getting ready. Have your photographer capture all the little details, such as close-up photos of the ring, invites and “something blue.” This is also a great time for your bridesmaids to warm up in front of the camera – get shots of getting hair and makeup done, and the classic sipping-champagne-in-robes photos.
