SWEDENBORG 101 & 201 CLASSES

Swedenborg 101 class
Sundays, 11:30-12:30pm in the Visitors Center
April 14, 21, 28; May 5, 12, 19; and June 2
Free will offering
The Swedenborg 101 Class is based on the basics of the Swedenborgian theology that inspires our preaching here at the Chapel. In the past this seven week course has had the following topics:
1. Who are We?
2. Who is God?
3. Who is Jesus Christ?
4. How Should We Live Our Lives?
5. What Shall We Be After Death?
6. What is the Bible?
7. Who was Emanuel Swedenborg? What is the Swedenborgian Church?
Many have taken these classes for personal enrichment. For those who wish, the class also prepares you for confirmation and membership in the Swedenborgian Church. If you are interested in attending this class, please contact Rev. David Brown, Lead Chapel Minister.
Swedenborg 201 class
Sundays, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the Visitors Center

If you already have taken the Swedenborg 101 class and would like to deepen your experience with the Swedenborgian theology, then this class is for you.
I AM MY SOUL
With Barbara Pieper
Barbara Pieper will share a message in the 10am Wayfarers Chapel Sunday service on June 9, followed by two classes 11:30am -1:00pm on Sundays June 9 and 16 at Wayfarers Center West, 6118 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
As “wayfarers” on our personal spiritual journeys, safe harbors of inspiration and hope come from understanding how the soul anchors us with divinity and permanence. In the classes Barbara will provide unique exercises and a space for deeper discussions on how to exist in the now and be at the nexus of all that is.
Called to spiritual studies and work, Barbara Pieper is an educator and executive with degrees from UCLA and USC. She has created the KNOW YOUR SOUL SYSTEM © and written and taught LIVING WITH YOUR SOUL© and CATCH MY SOUL© with the intention of adding clarity, simplicity and personal ease for those who are developing their our own spirituality.
Suggested donation: $15/class. All proceeds will go to the Wayfarers Chapel’s Ministry Program Fund.
